Anushka appeared in a film known as Band Baaja Baraat starring Ranveer who played the role of a middle class, who establishes her wedding planning business. It was a surprise hit and received good reviews. Anushka's three-film deal with Yash Raj Films ended with Band Baaja Baraat.
